The MasterGage/Classic is the alignment tool of choice for the serious and professional woodworker who wants to align, calibrate and tune their machinery for optimum performance. This includes machines such as, the table saw, sliding table saw, jointer, planer, sander, band saw, chop saw, etc. Machinery alignment and calibration will result in cleaner cuts, extend blade/bit life, eliminate burn marks, and minimize kick back. Thus eliminating dangerous and invisible misalignments in your woodworking machinery. The Classic body is a custom designed, heavy walled rectangular aluminum extrusion, CNC machined and precision ground to within 0.001 inch flatness, for maximum accuracy. The body is protected by black anodized plating and has three scales, fractions, decimals and millimeters that are precision laser etched into the black anodized surface. The horizontal Level Arm acts as a guide to read these scales, and also acts as a mount for the Dial Indicator. The on-board Dial Indicator gives machine shop accuracy to one thousandths (0.001) of an inch.
